Resettlement of Agriya to a new awesome, attractive and user-friendly site
You probably saw it: Agriya Infoway has got a new site, with a completely different appearance, new functions, new classifications and brand new design, in fact.
The question that you probably wanted to ask is very short: “why?” Why Agriya wanted to change this site? The answer is also very simple: to suit more users’ needs. The new features added to this site are designed to make this site more “friendly”, for everybody and everything: more “user friendly” and more “SEO Friendly”.
The more important change can be seen directly from the first page: the site is looking now much more attractive than before, thanks to a younger and more dynamic layout. Even the icons are bigger, and texts are less intrusive.
As “Agriya service offer” is changing (a few services are now added), this list needed to change; it is now fully representing how we imagine our business: lively, young, always changing.
This change of site features had also another purpose: to fix what was not working. With this new version, you will not have again the broken links that you used to have in the last version. All those problems disappeared, and the new site, which is now working fine, is looking more professional.
“SEO” is the key word for these new site features: the ROI (Return On Investment) was quite low in the last version of the site, because the conversion rate was not as high as expected. It means that the browsers that turned into customers were not enough. Now, everything has been done to improve those two ratings.
We also put the emphasis on the customer: the new site features are designed to make the customer’s action much easy. For example, buying a product was not totally easy. Now, a “customer cart” was added: it will surely improve the conversion rate, and it will be more “user friendly”.
Last reason for site change: as Agriya Infoway evolved and changed, its internet site needed to show those evolutions and changes. For sure, the products are still the same: YouTube clone, Facebook clone, yahoo-answers clone, webcam recorder script and so forth. The main changes are elsewhere: the services provided by Agriya that includes social network, technical writing, project consultations by dedicated project managers, SEO marketing and quality assurance for your web sites, flash/flex development for audio or video streaming, customization of open source software, design for your website, or web development and enterprise solutions for your projects.
This list has never been so long. It shows the internal revolution that Agriya is facing, and, of course, it can explain why the site needed to be changed.

Google chrome Vs Internet Explorer 8
Google Chrome (web kit based web browser) and Internet Explorer 8 are recently released web browsers by the giants Google and Microsoft. Chrome and IE 8 both deliver a strong platform for reliable running of multiple web apps in a tabbed format in answer to the web’s evolving needs.
Do we really need more browsers? Yes, because it can add more value for users and help them drive innovation on the web. This article gives some information about the latest browsers.
Google chrome beta web browser:
Advantage: Nice look and feel, fast, tabbed browsing, advanced security.
Security: Google promises that the Chrome is extremely secure. There’s a privacy mode called “Incognito” in Chrome. It allows you to secure the Pages whatever you view in the main window by not displaying in your browser history or search history, and it won’t leave other traces, like cookies, on your computer after you close the incognito window.
Usability: It has a single box for Search, history and address bar.
It facilitates tabbed browsing. Tabs are positioned at the top of the window. This will make the navigation faster and easier. Apart from this, Chrome displays 9 most visited web sites and sites most often searched on the home page.
Performance: Chrome uses a new JavaScript engine called V8 for faster performance.
It is much faster at showing Web pages than the most widely used browser, Microsoft’s Internet Explorer
Drawbacks: Its major drawback is poor performance, particularly when users open multiple web pages.
Internet Explorer 8 beta:
Advantage: Tremendous browser leader in full functionality.

Bottom Line
Google Chrome represents a fresh take on browser design. Its fully isolated, multiprocess architecture should prove more robust than IE 8′s, while its clean UI and lack of legacy baggage – plus some innovative JavaScript tuning – should help it gain a strong fan base. What remains to be seen is how Google will exploit its technical advantages for its own applications without alienating customers who have standardized on other browser platforms.
Internet Explorer 8 takes Microsoft’s creaking browser architecture and injects it with some much needed life. The sturdier, multiprocess design means that most crashes will be isolated to a single tab, while the new “porn mode” and quick-access tools (Accelerators, Web Slices) make browsing more efficient. IE 8′s hefty system requirements could slow adoption until Windows 7 debuts late next year.
One more search engine in the market: Cuil
Nowadays most of the people go to the internet to find information whatever they want because it offers the wide variety and quantity of information to them. Search engines help them to find the information using keywords.
There are large number and variety of search engines such as Google, yahoo, msn, Microsoft etc which helps you grab the global audience to your website which may be developed for personal and business purpose.
Among these competitive search engines, one more search engine christened as Cuil has come to the field. Cuil was developed by former Google engineers. It is wholly different from other search engines mainly as Google for page ranking, because the Google will give more priority to inbound links in WebPages but Cuil will give more priority to content of the WebPages rather than link popularity.
It displays the search results in more friendly way, as you can view the results in two or three columns. Also provides a list of categories related to the topic, using which the exact site can be identified without the deep knowledge in the search topic.
A well search engine has to deliver not only text results for viewers but also it should offer images, videos, audios and news. But Cuil seems to lack this option. At present it delivers search results with related thumbnail image when compared to Google.
Google delivers more relevant ads and has more advertisers in its system but Cuil doesn’t offer any ads on its page.
Privacy policy of Cuil states that it does not store records of users’ search activity or IP addresses whereas other search engines stores this information.
When compared to other competitive search engines, Cuil lacks lot of things. This article represents the feedback on the Cuil compared with other competitive search engines. The feedback is given with the thought that it should help in improving the Cuil in future.
