adwordsGoogle AdWords is an excellent program to boost the sales performance of your online business. It is important to understand that Google adwords is a pay-per-click system and you (online advertisers) have to pay when a prospect clicks on your AdWords ad – regardless of the number of impressions.

The following are some of the necessary AdWords tips which could help online marketers and business owners increase Click Through Rate (CTR) and earn cash quickly.

• Use dynamic titles as they attract viewers’ attention. By implementing a keyword in the title, you will receive considerably more clicks on your ad. You can use words like “killer,” “secret” and “bonus” in titles as they draw more attention from visitors and increase number of clicks.

• Create a list with all possible keywords that fit your products and services. Remember, you can also mis-spell keywords, a technique which your competitors would not have really thouht of. For example if you are running a flower business, you don’t have to stick to “flowers,” you could also try “flours”, “flovers” etc.

• If your AdWords ad costs too much and/or goes for very little profit, then interrupt the option that sllows announcement of your ad on the partner sites of Google like Focus.de or T-Online.de.

• You can get a number of tools from Google to analyze the performance of your ads. Monitor the performance constantly and make suitable modifications as per your need.

• Update your AdWords-ads on specific events or holidays like New Year’s, Valentine’s Day, Easter or Christmas and so on.

With careful planning and implementation, you can reach success quickly.

audioRun your business in sync with the advanced technology, to maximize your profit three fold. Audio marketing is one of the advanced marketing techniques through which one can deliver message in an easier and understandable way, and provide a different experience to visitors. A recent study has shown that audio marketing can increase the percentage of people that do the call of action – whether that’s buying a product, joining an email newsletter, or subscribing to an RSS feed. More and more people prefer to hear information instead of reading a book or a website filled with text.

Here are some effective tips to supercharge your audio marketing.

• Choose any attractive topic relevant to your products/services; it should convey some information for your target audience. Suppose you are selling exercise products, then you can choose “5 tips to reduce that extra flab”.

• You can hire a professional to create audio for your web site or you can do it yourself.

• Make sure that you have done a sound check before recording, so the audio clip sounds clear, crisp and audible.

• The voice used should be very confident, so practice well before recording. Take your time and pronounce each word clearly to avoid confusion. Pay particular attention to your speed, volume, accent, diction and intonation.

• Use a friendly tone and strive to sound very spontaneous throughout the recording. Try to smile while recording, as it will reflect on your voice.

• When you have completed your recording, make sure you listen to it first. Check whether it all sounds clear and crisp. You can also ask your friends to listen to them, because sometimes what sounds perfect to you might not be good enough to others. Based on the feedback, update your recordings.

Today one of the most serious problems faced by social networking sites is attacks by cyber criminals. Hackers choose social networking sites as they can collect personal identity and sales details of millions of people through social networks. They can misuse the collected data to loot people’s money. Not just money, the hi-tech thieves can take advantage of this and steal valuable data from members, using malware.

Some online mischief-makers can send worms as an ideal vector on site. For instance, if several employees of a given company have records on a social networking site that mention their company’s name, an attacker could send a worm like XSS (enables pickpockets to get the best news and information about people) to hunt down their account details.

The recent attack on social networking sites is the appearance of poisoned banner ads. It was a new type of attack, where if anyone clicks on one such ad, the adware automatically gets downloaded on their desktop and freezes their PC, according to iDefence, a research and security company. Anyway, the issue was fixed after a long time but the attack still found plenty of victims in a huge number of networking sites.

Recently, social networking giant Facebook has been targeted by hackers looking to steal users’ valuable information. It has been hit by five separate security problems in the last seven days, says a security expert.

Facebook had been attacked by four malicious applications along with a new variant of the Koobface virus. These rogue applications try to rob saleable data from profiles of those who open the link.

Every bad experience teaches us to discover a new way to solve the problems. Let us hope, that they will find a perfect way to resolve the security problems arising every hour on the net.

Everyday, we figure out newer, more creative ways to use social networking sites. While more and more such sites spring up everyday on the face of the massive internet, the most popular ones give us statistics, that we could make observations based on.

The number of people accessing the internet for anything at all is on a steady increase, and the number of people going onto social networking websites for some reason or the other is mind boggling. Nearly 70% of internet users use social networks of some kind, for some purpose or the other. We have already seen the information rush, where everybody wants to know about everything and the internet serves as a perennial storehouse. The trend is slowly moving towards information about everyone on your friend list. As the line between private and public information blurs quickly, people now want everyone to know what they are doing, what they are thinking, and almost everything else in their lives. Status messages on sites like Facebook, and constant updates on twitter, are not uncommon, letting people know exactly what you are doing, at every step in your life.

Although it started off as a phenomenon, that can almost be a termed a movement among youngsters, older people aren’t staying away from it anymore. Big social networks are having millions of 40+ aged users signing up. The idea of being able to connect with long lost BFFs and people that have been encountered at various stages in life, is simply irresistible.

What’s more, social networks seem to be replacing emails. A few years ago, email seemed like the greatest invention of mankind, doing away with traditional snail mail and making things so much faster. Today, social networks have almost substituted emails. People simply send messages over these sites, which provide options of both private and public messages. It’s easier, faster, and takes very little effort. Besides, you network with a whole bunch of friends together in one place. For the ones with the not so great memory, their presence that keeps popping up at you on the website reminds you that they exist and that you could drop in a word or two. Inviting people in large numbers for events/ parties/ concerts etc are also just so much simpler.

Sites like twitter are driving people strongly addicted to them. People find a compulsive necessity to tell people what they are doing, ever so often. The good thing is, that now people get to have an idea of how people in different parts of the world, living in different countries, following different cultures and speaking different languages think. It has added to the global village that we are turning into. The numbers and popularity of social networks is only going to go up, for a long time to come, and let’s see what new technology takes over next.

Choosing a good Web Hosting Service is a puzzling task, especially when you consider the growing number of web host companies and their advertisements. It can be quite confusing. Therefore, it is important that before jumping into any service, you have to know which hosting company suits your needs. Here are some simple guidelines which will help you select the perfect web hosting company.

Make sure that, the company offers support services 24/7 as it is necessary to monitor servers at all times and someone should be available to handle situations in case your site goes down.

Check the agreement: Read the terms and conditions carefully before you sign up. For example, some hosting providers will offer more than 40 mailboxes with each hosting account, while some may offer only 10 and make entrepreneurs pay if they need more than that. In addition, some companies will charge an additional fee, if you wish to terminate your agreement.

Check if they provide monthly/daily reports. It will be helpful for you to monitor your work.

Read feedbacks of their existing/old customers: Don’t assume that you cannot obtain this data. Just go through forums, where you can find a list of feedbacks about their services and read them carefully so you get an idea about their hosting services. If you’re not satisfied by their services, then switch over to another hosting firm.

Call their customer service and ask them any questions related to their services, before taking a decision. Remember, the knowledge of their employees is important.

Check whether their fees are charged on a monthly basis or on an annual basis.

Compare the costs of various hosting service companies, and choose a company which offers services at a rate that is affordable to you.

Confirm whether the service company assures you money back guarantee.

Take a look at the company’s payment method. Some will accept credit cards, while others will take PayPal, some will accept both. It depends on how you want to pay.  If they support Paypal, that would be great as you can request your money back within 30 days.
