  1. Feedy 2.0 Has Landed

    Peter on January 31st, 2012

One of the most popular scripts that we sell is our Yipit clone, Feedy which helps businesses aggregate deals from virtually any group deal or daily deal type website and lets users receive one comprehensive email rather than dozens of mails from different companies.

The success of Feedy can be traced back to the valuable input, comments and bug reports given to us by our customers and we have continued to improve and refine the software based on their feedback. Now, version 1 of Feedy is almost unrecognizable from the original software (if you look at the code) so we decided it’s time to take on board all the new information and data we have about what people want from a deals aggregation script and build Feedy 2.0.

Feedy 2.0 comes with a fantastic brand new default design and layout with some really awesome slider bars to help your visitors and users refine and zone in on the exact types of deals they are looking for. The new deal filter options will set your site apart from the crowd and make your business the place for people to go to find out all the deals that are happening in their area.

Of course, no major version change isn’t complete with out some serious optimization and speed improvements to the code and Feedy 2.0 is no different. In our baseline tests we have found that the new version loads approximately 22% faster when compared with the older version when using the same deal feeds.

Groupon is the number one group buying website in the industry and now thanks to our all new Groupon API integration your site can feature the biggest player and the best deals without having to worry about feed or data problems because it all comes from Groupon’s purpose made API. Other new features include the option for admins to parse RSS feeds in JSON format, ability to have the iframe activated on the deal page to show the details of the deal from the 3rd party website and the option for users to subscribe to deals from multiple cities.

There have been a number of small, niggling bugs that have been addressed in this new version such as fixing the Facebook Connect (Dear Facebook, please stop changing your code and breaking 3rd party developer scripts!), the Google Translate option has been fixed (Dear Google, please stop changing your code and breaking 3rd party developer scripts!) and for anyone who is an existing Feedy customer you’ll be pleased to hear that the troublesome deleting image on deals that has affected some of you has been rectified.

Feedy 2.0 is available to buy and download today, it costs just $500 and many people just like you have been using it to cash in on the lucrative daily deals industry. Feedy 2.0 is the ultimate low cost solution which removes all barriers to entry in to this market as you can test the waters to see if your marketing skills are good enough to launch your very own daily deals website. Take it for a demo now.

  1. Get Your Own FoodSpotting Clone

    Peter on January 24th, 2012

Just when you think the Internet can’t get any more granular, it goes and becomes even more granular. Yelp introduced us to the world of restaurant reviews so you could check out what others were saying about the place before you went out to splash $100 on a sub-standard meal. Now, Foodspotting has introduced us to a world where we can now not just rate the restaurant but the individual dish that we tried. We’re sure that this is a problem the world over, the steak burger was awesome but the chocolate sundae was a disappointment so how do you sum it up with just one rating?

Foodspotting have recently secured $3m in Series A funding and the concept is catching on as people want to share everything about themselves, not just where they are but what they are doing, eating and drinking there. Infact, Foodspotting has become so popular that Facebook have integrated it as one of their essential apps as part of their ‘frictionless’ sharing – where you share what you are doing without having to do anything, the apps do it for you automatically.

Attention like this means that it has caught the eye of many entrepreneurs around the world who want to introduce a similar concept to their own market and we’ve had a number of requests for a Foodspotting clone in the last few months. As regular readers to this blog will know, Agriya now exclusively develops software through our Ideas portal where entrepreneurs and investors from around the world can join together to get a share of each product we develop and earn up to 200% of their money back.

The Foodspotting clone project has generated enough interest to move from voting to funding and we are now looking for people to get in on the ground floor of this project. If you are looking to create a Foodspotting clone website then this is the ideal opportunity because not only are you getting the full software for a fraction of the cost you will have a big say in the development of the features and you will get a share of the sales until you get up to 200% of your money back. The other advantage is that you get to be one of the first sites to get up and running, gaining a clear advantage on any other potential competitors.

The project has a budget of $9,000 and investors have already pledged 25% of that. You can pledge just $750 (which will be a discount on the regular price plus you get all the additional benefits mentioned above) and there is no maximum that you can pledge. If you have been looking for a Foodspotting clone script then this is an opportunity you can’t pass up. Head over to the Agriya Ideas portal now to read more about the project, find out about the current investors and get involved with the discussion from other people interesting in running a site like this.

The Agriya Ideas portal has already seen a huge amount of success with BuySell, Burrow and GrubWithUs all being products of this crowdfunded concept. Investors in these products are already running their websites and earning a return on all sales that are made for these products.

  1. Your Own ClubPlanet Clone With Party Planet

    Peter on January 24th, 2012

The pulsing dance beat can send a flow of cash in to your bank account when you launch your own ClubPlanet clone and target avid party goers and disco junkies. With everything you need to become the number one destination portal for party people everywhere, PartyPlanet is the ultimate events, venues and community platform.

You’ll have everything you need to turn your site in to a high traffic portal with the option to add regular news updates, upload photos and videos and even let people plan their own party nights right from your website. It doesn’t matter whether you are targeting a specific location or plan to go national, PartyPlanet can grow as your site grows.

Events can help drive the success of your site as you host parties to get the word out and then post the photos and videos to your site for all the party goers to check out, rate, comment and share with others. As you host more parties the number of visitors to your site will increase and you can start letting other people add their venues and events to your site (maybe for free, maybe you can charge a fee) which in turn drives more traffic as they promote the event and post photos and videos for people to check out afterwards.

The news section lets you add articles and newsworthy topics which you can collect from the venues and event organizers who use your site. A constantly updated blog with new nightlife information will keep people coming back for more and they can even share the information with their friends, building your site brand and making it become known as the place to get the best information.

Clean and modern or dark and trendy? It might sound like a strange question but with the PartyPlanet you get to choose from two built in templates. The first has a modern, clean layout which is bright and fresh, the other template is dark and stylish. No matter what image you want to project, these two very different templates will be in keeping with your brand image. Expect more PartyPlanet templates to be available soon.

One of the best implementations of PartyPlanet is on one of the Caribbean islands (famous for their laid back approach to life) where the company organizes events like Halloween parties, cruises, house parties and more for the expats living there. It’s become hugely successful and a business model that could be replicated across the world.

Building a business with PartyPlanet is a long term strategy and requires a blend of offline and online marketing and promotion. To get the business off the ground you will need to organize events or have contacts with people who can organize the events. Once your website becomes more popular you can charge businesses to list their own events, offer venues the option of a premium subscription to be featured and of course you can integrate Google AdSense to make a passive income.

PartyPlanet is built on the proven CakePHP 2.0 framework (the same framework that powers GroupDeal, FP Platform and others) which is very well documented. The cost is $1,000 and you can start your own ClubPlanet software right now.

  1. Who Else Wants A Full Clickbank Clone

    Peter on January 20th, 2012

Clickbank has risen from obscurity to market domination in the digital info products industry where you can buy anything from cat training manuals to advice on how to cure compulsive hair pulling disorders. These info products are sold by some of the best Internet marketers and affiliates in the business and make revenues ranging from tens of thousands to millions of dollars every year. Clickbank for its part takes a 7% fee on every transaction as well as charging people $50 to be able to sell their digital info product through the Clickbank platform.

To date, Clickbank claim to have processed over $2bn worth of transactions since they began which is not bad considering all they need to do is process the credit card payments and run a skeleton staff.

Numerous people have been in touch with us over the years and asked for a Clickbank clone script and we’re pleased to say that the project has moved from voting to funding in our Agriya Ideas portal. With a budget of $10,500 investors have already pledged $3,000 so it’s well on its way to being fully funded.

If you want to build a turnkey website that processes payments for digital marketers (or anyone looking to sell actually) with full affiliate management then this is a project you need to be involved with right now. For just $750, which is much less than the script will eventually sell for, you can get a ground floor position to help direct the project, suggest features and ensure that the final product is the best piece of software available on the market.

Furthermore, Agriya rewards all investors with a profit share program so that based on the number of sales you will earn up to 200% of your money back. If you pledge $750 now, in 6 months you could be running your successful website and earned $1,500 back from Agriya if the sales of the product have been strong.

There are other advantages to pledging your money too because you’ll get to use the early beta releases of the software which means you can establish your website long before any competitors come along and ensure that the features you want are included for no extra cost – assuming you can convince the other investors of course.

$750 is the minimum amount you need to pledge but there is no upper limit, infact if you want to fund the remaining amount because you believe in the project so much then you are free to do so.

Getting a project like this Clickbank clone developed by yourself would cost in the region of $20,000 if you were to get it done properly by a company experienced in developing secure and scalable e-Commerce platforms. Using the power of crowdsourceing you don’t need to pay anywhere near that amount, infact, you have the opportunity to get all your money back and then some.

Agriya Ideas has already funded a large number of projects and investors are already earning back their money every day thanks to Agriya’s marketing machine which ensures that everyone knows about our products. Successful past projects include GrubWithUs clone, Etsy clone, Airbnb clone and our soon to be released Freelancer clone and Thumbtack clone.

If you’ve got any questions or thoughts about this opportunity or want to know how you can get involved, leave a comment below and we’ll try and answer all your questions. Click here to pledge money now.

  1. 4 Stunning SF Platform Templates

    Peter on January 19th, 2012

You might think that the default SF Platform template is an all purpose generic design but if you are really looking to stand out from the crowd then you need to have some thing a bit more unique. While a complete custom design and integration may be a little bit beyond your budget, Agriya has recently released some fantastic templates for SF Platform that should get your inspiration juices flowing with ideas.

In case you are not aware, SF Platform works a lot like a kickstarter clone where anyone can list a project that they need funded and people can pledge money to get the project started. Often there will be rewards or recognition for people who donated and the more that is donated the higher the individual recognition. Infact, this system is so successful that Agriya has used this part of this software in our popular Agriya Ideas portal where people can pledge money to get products developed.

A clean and stylish layout using reds and yellows for highlighting colours. We love the vertical rectangular boxes to showcase the projects that are available and the yellow header really gives the site a memorable impact.

This purple template has a quirky feel to it with the minimal footer and funky colours but retains a clean layout. It looks like the perfect template for any kind of creative media type crowdfunded website.

If you want your website to make a visual impact then this is the template to choose. With a bold design and gorgeous blue and purple highlighting colours it will leave a lasting impression on everyone who will visit your site.

Blue is the colour! If you like you websites to be big, bright and unmissable then this template is the one for you. It’s got a concise home page with navigational arrows so visitors can explore more projects without having to scroll down.

All the templates are made to order and cost $750. It takes around 2-3 weeks to fully integrate the design due to the number of layouts and pages that need to be integrated.

SF Platform can be used in all kinds of different niches, so far we’ve seen clients build sites to serve the wedding niche, documentary niche, photography niches, charity niches and more. You can make money using this software by charging a small fee to list a project and taking a commission on the total amount that has been pledged.

  1. Start Your Pinterest Clone Now

    Peter on January 18th, 2012

Launched without much fanfare in early 2010, Pinterest has grown to become one of the most talked about startups of 2011 and the trend is continuing in 2012. With over $37 million of funding under its belt (which values this 2 year old startup at a cool $200m), it’s safe to say that the venture capitalists of Silicon Valley reckon it’s the next big thing too.

Already many major media sites are saying that Pinterest is sending them more traffic than Twitter and Facebook combined and big brands like Time and Coca Cola are busy trying to figure out how to leverage this site.

If you are looking for a Pinterest clone then you are probably already aware of what it does, but just incase you are not the site basically lets you ‘pin’ interesting images to your profile and share it with others. It’s primarily about visual treats which means that a lot of graphic designers and photographers are getting exposure but Time magazine is generating interest thanks to their back catalog of front covers.

Agriya now funds all its projects through the Agriya Ideas portal and Pinterest has just been moved from the “for voting” category in to the “For Funding” category. Let’s just take a quick look at how the Agriya Ideas portal works…

    • Agriya determines how much it costs to develop the software
    • You pledge some money
    • Other people also pledge some money
    • Once the minimum amount has been collected, Agriya freezes the project and starts work on the software
    • You decide the direction and features for the software
    • You get to use the software first (and get a great first to market advantage)
    • You can earn up to 200% of your money back based on sales

Now the Pinterest clone project is open for funding you can get yourself on the ground floor and help determine the direction the project takes, be one of the first people to get their website launched (and gain at least 1-2 months advantage over everyone else) and you have the opportunity to earn up to 200% of your money back based on future sales of the product.

Agriya has already got a great track record of incubating projects in our Ideas portal and then launching them to the world. Our BuySell software which works as a multi-merchant platform (like an Etsy clone) has been flying off the shelves since we launched it last year and our group dining product, GroupWithUs has also seen strong sales with the original investors more than happy with the progress and earning potential.

  1. 4 Innovative Ways To Use GroupWithUs

    Peter on January 17th, 2012

GroupWithUs is Agriya’s GrubWithUs clone script which lets you run a group dining type website but the software has been designed so that group dining isn’t the only thing you can start offering. GrubWithUs works by contacting restaurant owners and securing a good deal on a set menu and then opening the even to people interested in networking – you can even tailor the meals to suit different interests. The first person who signs up gets a discount and the price steadily rises as more people confirm their desire to attend.

What GrubWithUs has done for eating out and meeting people you can do for any other industry thanks to our GroupWithUs software. We take a look at some of the options available to you and hope that it sets off some sparks of inspiration with the potential that this software has.

    1. Theatre Excursions

It doesn’t have to be New York’s Broadway or London’s West End, people still love to go to the theatre and take in some live action drama or show. Provincial theatres up and down the land in every country would love to have their venues packed to the rafters every night but sadly this is not always possible. However, the fact remains that there are probably lots of people that would love to go to the theatre more often but don’t have a network of friends that share the same interest that they do.

Building a website that focuses on getting great deals for shows and plays at the local theatre will connect lots of avid theatre goers who might be quite keen to take advantage of the early bird offers by being the first to buy a ticket for a particular show and they don’t have to worry about going alone because after a few outings many people will be well connected and know each other.

    2. Adventure Sports

This is an area ripe for the taking. Imagine you and your friend turn up to a paintballing centre and no one else is there to play, it would be a pretty disappointing experience. If you created a website that listed local adventure sports (remember, GroupWithUs is designed to be local to everyone so they can select the city or town where they want to see available events) companies like paintballing, go-karting, quad-biking, rock climbing etc. then visitors to your website will be safe in the knowledge that if they turn up there will be plenty of people to get to know and have a much better experience.

The business wins because even though they are offering a discount you are guaranteeing a certain number of people coming through the door and your website visitors win because they get good discounts on doing things they already love. The early bird participants can even get a bigger discount so you might end up having people checking your site daily to see what bargains they can get.

    3. Introductory / Tester Classes

In every town in every city around the world the local community college offers various types of evening classes for people to expand their repertoire of skills or to help them advance their career. Unfortunately some of the classes can be expensive and people have to commit to a long period of time. This barrier to entry can be removed by GroupWithUs by arranging introduction classes for various courses where the teacher can introduce what is going to be taught and how and the student can make a decision about whether it’s going to be right for them without having to shell out a lot of money.

Normally for a college to arrange this type of event would be a logistical nightmare and they certainly don’t want to be doing introductory classes for just a handful of people. This is where GroupWithUs comes in. You arrange a special price on an introductory class and then people who are interested can get a discount and find out who else will be going so they know they won’t be the only one there.

    4. Day Trips For Families

This might be particularly relevant in today’s economy. Imagine the scene: it’s summer time, the kids are at home, they are bored, their friends have all left the state on vacation, they’ve got no one to play with. How about creating an group booking day trip website specifically aimed at families? Talk to attractions in the local area such as theme parks, museums, activity centres, aquariums and more and negotiate a discount if you can bring a certain number of families to their attraction.

Next, use the GroupWithUs software to create the day trip excursions and families can sign up to get a discount. You can even offer the first few families to sign up an additional discount. Since you know the exact numbers that will be attending and everyone has to pay up front you can manage the expenses such as insurance and transport.

These are just four innovative ways that we have thought of to use GroupWithUs, hopefully it has given you a few ideas and inspiration on how you can build your own group booking type website. If you’ve got any ideas let us know in the comments below, or if you’d rather discuss your top secret ideas with a sales rep get in touch with us on this page.

  1. Agriya’s Airbnb Clone Gets A Facelift

    Peter on January 12th, 2012

When we launched our Airbnb clone script, Burrow, back in the summer of 2011 we didn’t realize just how much of a demand there was for a platform which connects people for the exchange of services or expertise. The feedback started pouring in via our support desk and more recently via our bug tracker and while we have eliminated any major bugs one lingering concern amongst customers was that the admin area could be improved.

We’re pleased to announce that for our 10th release of Burrow we have completely overhauled the admin area to give a cleaner, more friendly and intuitive backend. You’ll find the new admin area to be completely unrecognizable to the previous versions and the time and effort we have put in to crafting it is thanks to our ongoing efforts to ensure that every part of our products exceeds expectations.

The new admin area is a lot cleaner as you can see in the screenshot below. The emphasis is giving you a brief snapshot of the important information that you need while making the option to dig deeper in to the data much easier and simpler.

Humans love to visualize data because it gives some kind of meaning and representation to what is going on. You might have had 15 orders yesterday and 18 the day before and 14 today but it’s only when this information is plotted on a graph do these numbers start to have some meaning. The Burrow admin area now comes jam packed with graphs and charts to give you a visual representation of what’s going on in your business.

Previously we had all our admin menu options listed down the left hand side of the screen which became a bit too cumbersome as more management pages were added and sometimes it felt like you had to endlessly scroll to find the menu option you wanted. This has all changed in the new Burrow script where all the menu options have been grouped together under eight logical headings. When you roll over a heading it expands out to reveal the advanced management options that are available to you related to that heading.

With each property that’s listed on your Burrow website there is an enormous amount of data that is generated, most of which you don’t actually need to know unless you are administrating a particular property. Now when you load the list of properties you get the information that is most important to you in a quick snapshot but more indepth data is just a click away and the listing will expand out to reveal inside information about the property you have selected.

User management is another area which generates huge amounts of data, most of which isn’t needed on a day to day basis so once again the developers have constructed the member management page in such a way so that you get all the important information you need at a glance like how much money you have made out of them while keeping more detailed information hidden away but can be revealed at a click of a button.

There have also been a number of under the hood changes which you won’t see but will definitely feel. Innovations such as cutting edge caching, use of css sprite images and SASS all serve to speed up the loading and rendering of your Burrow website. Another new feature that has been added recently includes the ability to pay your hosts offline instead of via PayPal as we found many businesses are setting up a website to serve a market that doesn’t have easy access to web based payment solutions and prefer offline methods like cash and cheques. This is now fully supported in the latest version of Burrow.

If you haven’t checked out Burrow for yourself headover to our Airbnb clone script page which explains more about what it does and request an unrestricted demo so you can see for yourself how powerful this software is.

  1. Looking To The Future – What’s In Store For 2012?

    Peter on January 11th, 2012

When you are the market leader like Agriya is for clone scripts, daily deal software, vacation rentals software and more, we always have to be a little bit candid and cautious when talking about our future plans because we know that many companies look to us to decide what to do next. Agriya prides itself on foreseeing future trends before they happen and is just one of the reasons why we have been first to market with our Groupon clone, Airbnb clone, Fiverr clone and Yipit clone to name but a few.

On the other hand, there will always be competitors following in our wake and we want to keep our customers informed and excited as we are about our future plans, but if it comes across as being a little bit too reticent with information we hope you can understand!

    Service Based Websites

Agriya has identified several key verticals that are ripe for entering and revolutionizing for a global market. We will be creating a new business unit of the company that will build, operate and run these web based services. The ground work is almost done and development and customization has begun (it’s a cryptic clue, we know!) and we’re looking forward to launching the first of our web based services that will serve a specific (non-tech) vertical in the coming months. More service based websites will be launching over the coming year as we look to expand and become more than a products based company.

    New Technologies

If you ever saw our profile on some of the popular freelance websites you may have wondered why we called ourselves “LAMPC” (we pronounce it “lamp-see” in the office). The reason is that back in the olden days (about 8 years ago!) PHP and CGI were the open source programming languages of choice for the vast majority of websites. Fast forward to 2012 and there is a myriad of open source languages with their own advantages and disadvantages. Agriya is already branching out from PHP and developing client projects in cutting edge languages built specifically for the needs of todays web applications and we have hired new programmers to specifically learn these new languages so if you want to get a website developed in an open source language other than PHP, CGI or Ruby let us know because we’ve now got the expertise to help you.

Product Development Driven By Agriya Ideas

One of the most innovative developments that came out of 2011 was the launch of our FundProjectsWith.me concept where we took a crowdsourcing approach to developing new products based on specific consumer demand and taking the guess work out of predicting what will be popular in 6 months from now (although our list of successful products that were the first to market really speaks for itself).

Late last year we rolled the FundProjectsWith.me functionality in to our ever evolving Agriya Customers website and it got a new name: Agriya Ideas. The concept is still the same, you suggest which products you would like to see, we take a democratic approach with people voting on projects to take forward to funding and then anyone can contribute money to the project to ensure it gets developed. As a reward for helping to fund a project the investor gets up to double their money back (depending on sales) along with helping to shape the direction the project takes.

All future Agriya products will be driven by this crowdsourced method so that you can get the products you want and Agriya can focus its resources on projects people will buy. If you have an idea for a project, just head over to Agriya Ideas and let us know.

    Relaunching Agriya Forums

In the middle of last year we had to shut down the Agriya forums due to far too much automated spam and vBulletin’s inability to effectively stop it. This was a shame because it was a good place for the community to hang out so we have made plans to resurrect the forum using our brilliant Discuzz software – with some modifications of course! We hope to have this new dicussion forum tightly integrated in to our Agriya Customers area and you’ll be able to meet, hangout and chat to other customers, share ideas and get help on specific questions about the software.

    Gamifcation…

HUSH! We may have said too much already but gamification for Agriya is here and it’s going to rock your world!

New Project Management Tool For Clients

Based on the remarkable success of our Products Bug Tracker which is based on the famous Mantis software, it incorporates a super friendly user interface for the frontend and a developer friendly backend so that everyone gets the best of both worlds. We’re now working to roll this solution out to our customization and service based projects.

    Other Plans

Of course, there are a whole host of additional plans that are in the pipeline but for the sake of confidentiality we can’t announce them just yet!

All in all, 2012 is looking to be an even more successful year than 2011 as we look to consolidate our number one position in the clone scripts market, improving our current range and providing the best software with the best support and updates.

  1. 2011 Client Showcase

    Peter on January 10th, 2012

2011 was a big year for Agriya with our customer base expanding far and wide and opening up new markets in the Middle East, South East Asia and the Orient. We welcomed many visiting clients to our office in India over the year and we can say with confidence that we are a truly global provider and are delighted to be able to highlight some of the exceptional projects our clients have been working on in the last 12 months.

Just like in 2010, 2011 was all about daily deals and group buying with our market leading GroupDeal software continuing to be the number one choice for businesses to build a daily deals website. This is reflected in our selection of client websites below which is dominated by customized and highly successful websites that were launched in 2011.

    Big Deal

When Big Deal decided they needed to launch a group buying website in Thailand there was only one logical solution for their demanding requirements. GroupDeal has been given a complete design makeover with beautiful attention to detail. See for yourself, Big Deal are selling dozens of coupons for every deal they run.

    Y-Deal

When you are from a country like Switzerland, a melting pot of 4 different languages, you need a website that is multi-lingual to cater to all audiences. Fortunately for Y-Deal they found GroupDeal, the only truly multi-lingual group buying software available that can handle multiple languages on one site and multiple currencies. A quick glance at their recent deals shows that being multi-lingual really pays off with dozens of coupons being sold on all deals.

    The Daily Hookup

With a grungy design, The Daily Hookup website has been developed with exclusivity, environment and fashion in mind. The deals are not a hodgepodge of spa and beauty treatments but are crafted by their curators who secure deals that they would want to buy themselves. Due to the national nature of the website the software has even been integrated with a content delivery network for speed and optimization.

    Deal LX

Deal LX is a large European company with business operations in over 12 countries that covers a large range of currencies, cultures and languages. They had some of the most demanding requirements we’ve seen because they wanted to quickly launch group buying websites in 15 countries. After extensive research they chose GroupDeal because of the easy customization options, excellent technical support and the simplicity of integrating new payment options. Deal LX offer dozens of deals every day across their vast network of GroupDeal powered websites and are now selling thousands of coupons on most of their deals.

    Spurr

Australian based group buying website, Spurr, have taken Agriya’s GroupDeal software and customized it almost beyond recognition. With a fantastic blue and gray design it’s one of the best looking daily deal websites we’ve seen (and we’ve seen a lot!). Spurr are offering new deals every day and past performance shows they are selling dozens of coupons every day with everything from deep sea fishing to iPhone battery cases on offer. Their most popular deal has sold a little over 1,000 coupons which in reality is barely even starting to use the full power and capacity of GroupDeal.

    Deal d’un Jour

Roughly translated as Deal of the Day, Deal d’un Jour is a Morocco based daily deals website chose GroupDeal because it offered easy backend translation in to the local language (French) along with integration with a local payment provider. The front end of the site has been completely customized with a fantastic blue theme and looks unrecognizable from GroupDeal’s default layout. They are now offering deals in over 25 cities throughout Morocco and have so far successfully run over 600 different deals with dozens of coupons purchased on each one.

    City Setter

City Setter is a Spanish based daily deals website powered by Agriya’s GroupDeal software and completely transformed on the front end thanks to a brand new design and layout. City Setter have received a lot of attention from the Spanish media with mentions in some of the biggest national news websites (which you can read if you speak Spanish!). The entire website has been translated in to Spanish and the website now sells hundreds of coupons on each deal.

    Charitable Coupons

By combining the population’s love for daily deals and the needs of charities to get donations, Charitable Coupons have hit upon a winning formula where customers can get great deals and donate to charity at the same time. With a completely new look and feel, GroupDeal has been solid as a rock as dozens and sometimes hundreds of coupons are purchased for every deal that they run. With a focus on Kansas City, Charitable Coupons hope they can expand their unique business model to other cities in 2012.

    Kingdom Deal

Singapore is buzzing with group buying and daily deals websites at the moment and Kingdom Deal needed a rock solid service provider to ensure that when their website went live they would have the reliability and security to compete with some very well funded businesses. Fortunately this is what GroupDeal has been designed for and Kingdom Deal is successfully offering new deals every day on mostly accessories and other products. Most deals have sold more than 10 coupons with some even selling dozens.

    Bungalow Stays

Renting out your spare room or couch is becoming an increasingly common way to earn a little bit of extra cash and our Burrow software is the perfect product to create a website like Airbnb. However it also works beautifully for mainstream vacation rentals websites and Bungalow Stays have taken advantage of this with their new website which lets people rent big villas and mansions around India for a night or even for months.

    Mac Shnapp

Deals, deals, deals, hundreds of deals filling up your inbox – unless you’re in Germany and sign up to Mac Shnapp which eats up all the deals from German group buying websites and condenses it in to one easy to view email. This website relies on our Feedy software to aggregate deals and organize them on the website in an easy to use manner. Custom deal feeders had to be created and the new front end design looks nothing like the default Feedy theme. Since this is website is based in Germany, the company took advantage of the simple translation system to translate everything in to their native language.

    Red Foto

With so much emphasis on daily deals and vacation rentals in the last couple of years it might be easy to forget that Agriya also has a wide range of other products. Red Foto uses Agriya’s Photoz software which lets anyone run a photo albums website a lot like Flickr or Picasa. This website has been highly customized with a unique design and has been translated completely in to Spanish.

These are just some of the exciting projects that Agriya has been working on in the last 12 months and with the number of projects in the pipeline we are confident that 2012 is going to be an even more successful year for our clients as businesses innovate to differentiate themselves from the crowd.
