    Agriya continues releasing clones of popular websites and this month is no exception with the release of our new GrubWithUs clone script which was created thanks to popular demand from our customers. Development for GroupWithUs was part funded by our clients on our groundbreaking social funding website fundprojectswith.me. Seven people contributed the money required to get the project off the ground and we’re delighted with all the feedback they’ve provided throughout the development.

    Now, incase you are not aware of how GrubWithUs works, think of it as a fusion of group buying, speed dating and social networking.

    The owner of the site (that would be you) arranges great deals with local restaurants and posts them on the site. The menu will usually be fixed before hand so people pay a fixed amount for the food. Members can then decide if they want to attend the dining event and pay for a ticket directly on your site.

    In order to get people interested the first person that buys a ticket gets a discount on the regular price and then the price rises for every ticket that is sold, encouraging and rewarding people to get in early. Members that are not sure if they want to attend can wait to see who else is going but end up having to pay more than those already confirmed.

    GroupWithUs - Social Dining Software

    Social dining is a great way for your members to meet new and interesting people in their local area and is almost like speed dating except you don’t have to change partners every 2 minutes!

    Agriya’s latest software, called GroupWithUs, lets you run your very own group dining website complete with social networking options and a built in affiliate program. Everything is arranged by city so your members from Atlanta will only see dining events that are taking place in Atlanta but they can also check out other cities if they want to.

    The whole script is multi-lingual and can handle any currency type thanks to the automatic currency exchange that’s built in to the script. You can have your Paris dining events page all in French and your Barcelona dining events page in Spanish, GroupWithUs is truly the social dining script built for the world!

You’ve seen it done on every business website you’ve been to: each one has a few (or many)social networking tools represented on the sides, and you are supposed to follow them on Twitter or friend them on Facebook. Facebook offers special business memberships, that are not the same as individual ones. In fact, some small businesses completely give the website route a pass and depend on Facebook for a web presence. It looks good, and you can have your Facebook website simply redirect visitors to a proper e-commerce site like eBay or Amazon.

    Businesses don’t always go down the Facebook route just to have a web presence though; you could be there for customer support, for better word-of-mouth, or to start a forum about something important your product represents, like environmental responsibility, for example. A new bakery that wants to get enough hip young customers in the door would have to do nothing more than to look up on Facebook all the people who live in a 5 mile radius around the bakery, searching by Zip code, age and income group on Facebook, and send out Facebook messages to all of them.     The social networking community really does work like one; advertisements on them usually not people much better results than advertisements put out on general-interest websites. Facebook is like this magic neighborhood,huge and intimate at the same time, where everyone walks around with a name tag – like in that episode of Seinfeld.

    People are always on the move for various reasons and motivations; some may move for their career and higher studies, and others may move for personal intentions. Whatever expats achieve in other countries, they may still feel that they are isolated and alone. So they are in search of a solution to keep in touch with their friends and meet expatriates from their country, and other countries as well.

    Social networking sites are the best solution. There are many social networking sites for expatriates out there. These sites help them get in touch with others who are in similar situations. It acts as a good platform to be up-to-date with information about their residential country, to meet people from their home town, get in touch with their family and old friends, and make new friends.

    They can create a network with likeminded people and contact them at any time to get help on finding a new job, good restaurants, cars on rent, hospitals, good doctors, apartment, shopping malls, housekeeping services, laptop on rent, and almost everything else possible. They can also discuss any problem and find a solution for it, apart from exchanging information.

    They can also create a community to exchange resources and talk about any topics and issues related to the local country. Expats can organize many spontaneous events, such as hikes, river rafting, bowling nights, parties at a local pubs, or at home and a lot more, and invite people from their own expatriate community. For example, a member can arrange a “Thanks giving party” for Americans living in a certain place in Australia.

    In addition, some social networks also offer: forums, chat, blogs and ad services. You can display ads and post articles which could range from a review on local food, to the best entertainment places in and around you and current news of your country etc.

    Many expats are interested in taking the dating relationships towards marriage instead of being involved in short term relationships. If you’re interested in dating other expats, you can check out the profiles of people from all over the globe and choose the right one form the dating websites.
