Rayzz Reviews
With Rayzz 3 soon to be released, we are getting a number of enquiries about the demo, more details, feature requests, customization and more. A lot of people are also asking for some example Rayzz sites and Rayzz reviews to see what it is capable of.

Who Could Use Rayzz 3.0?
Rayzz would be perfectly suited to a golfing community portal. You’ve got the videos to provide video demonstrations on how to reduce handicaps and get better putting accuracy, photos to show some of the amazing golf course locations, articles to give insight and technical theory on various aspects of the sport and a discussion board to let members interact and ask questions.
You could even customize it a bit more and integrate Google Maps to show where all the golf courses are, create a directory of golf courses all over the world and let members view, comment and share them.

The Launch of a New Channel
The time has finally come where we can finally release Channel to the world – and although it’s not quite generated the same amount of buzz as the new Apple tablet, we know that our customers have been looking forward to it for, well, a while now!But I’m pleased to say that testing is over, we’ve dotted the I’s and crossed the T’s (we do like paperwork here in India) and Channel is now available to purchase from our customer ordering system.
As a recap of what Channel is, it’s an advanced video sharing script that enables anyone to very quickly and easily setup a website that allows people to watch, share and upload videos – just like the big sites such as Youtube, Break, Metacafe and others. You have complete flexibility over the way the site works, what members can and can’t do…pretty much everything.
One of the coolest features, in my opinion, is the paid membership option where you can give paid members that little bit extra like the option to download the video, access to a ‘secret vault’ or anything else that you want to protect.
Channel now comes with an awesome new clean interface which looks beautiful (you can check the screenshots in our sneak peak blog a few days back).
Now comes the really great part, Agriya knows that we have to take care of our customers and since Channel is an evolution of Rayzz Video Sharing we guarantee that we’ll upgrade your account to take advantage of Channel. Since virtually every file of Channel has been modified there is no direct upgrade, however we do have a script that will allow you to import your videos and members in to Channel.

Have You Ever Seen A Channel Like This?
Great news ladies and gentleman, Version 2 of Rayzz Video Sharing is undergoing its final iteration of testing and feedback and is due for an immanent release at the end of this month (we reckon on the 27th January – but hold that date in mind, see if we can stick to our deadlines…).
With the new version of Rayzz Video Sharing comes a name change to represent the changing business strategy that Agriya will adopt in 2010. Rayzz Video Sharing is going to be renamed to Channel, it’s just a name change, every customer who owns a copy of Rayzz Video Sharing will be able to upgrade to the new version – which is called Channel.
The main changes in Channel are an improved admin interface as well as a completely redesigned front end. As part of our business strategy we want to make sure that all our products are compatible with one another and therefore Channel can be ‘plugged in’ to Volume and vice versa.
The way the new setup will work is as follows:
- Rayzz 2 (soon to be Rayzz 3) will be the ultimate public community portal with videos, music, games, blogs, photos, groups, forums etc.
- Channel will be just be a video sharing script which allows people to view and share videos
- Volume will just be a music sharing / radio station script for people who want to run music sites
- A new, and as yet unnamed, piece of software will be a photo sharing platform
So let’s say you wanted to run a music sharing site but also wanted to add videos, you don’t want Rayzz because that does more than you want and most features will go unused. So you buy Volume and Channel and simply plug one in to the other and voila! You have a music sharing site with video playing and sharing capabilities!
I hope you begin to see where we are going with our products, maybe we’ll also make an arcade / gamers script as well.
